A round silver medal, the obverse centre presents the right facing bust of Empress Auguste Victoria, surrounded by the inscription ZUM SEGEN DEUTSCHER FRAUEN U. KINDER (TO BLESSING GERMAN WOMEN AND CHILDREN), maker marked below bust with F. FINKE BERLIN, the reverse centre presents the inscription VEREINIGUNG DEUTSCHER HEBAMMEN (ASSOCIATION OF GERMAN MIDWIVES), engraved with No. 10882, measuring 32. 78 mm in diameter, and in good condition.
