GIBATTI 17 NOV. 1937 XVI MANGASCIA UOLDEGHERGHIS ALLA MEMORIA" on the reverse, 33. 5 mm, on contemporary ribbon, toned, very light contact, extremely fine. Footnote: Research suggests that the recipient may have been an Askari soldier in the XVI Adi Caieh Native Battalion of the Italian Colonial "1st Eritrean (Native) Division".
