Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing raise and leftward facing profiles of Ferdinand von Zeppelin and Dr. Hugo Eckner, circumscribed by names and dates of 1898 1928, the reverse bearing a central raised depiction of LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin over the Atlantic, circumscribed by an inscription of LUFTSCHIFF LZ 127 GRAF ZEPPELIN, the edge bearing a makers mark of PREUSS.
