A Heer Medical Officers brocade, constructed of a strip of pressed leather, the exterior bearing a layer of silver aluminum wire with dual machine embroidered dark blue tresses, the reverse with the remnants of a dark blue felt liner, one end retaining a brown leather tongue perforated with nine sets of dual eyelets for an adjustable fit, measuring 40 mm (w) x 940 mm (l), material fatigue consistent with age and field use
