Chateau Poujeaux Moulis en Medoc 2016 wagram A Grenache dominant blendChateau Poujeaux is a 68 hectare vineyard located in the Moulis en Medoc appellation. The vines are 35 years old, on average, and planted on gnzian gravel from the Garonne. Maturation occurs in barrels (30% are new) for 12 months. The 2016 vintage is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The mild, dry winter gave way to a fresh spring with heavy rainfall, which delayed development.
