The palate is similarly strong black cherry, dusty earth, underbrush, and wintergreen. Pleasantly medium bodied, with even tempered tannin and acidity throughout. A ready pair to all kinds of earthy cuisine, from Italian pastas and polentas through fancier pork dishes and more casual burgers.
