Germany, Wehrmacht. A 1939 Clasp to the Iron Cross II Class, Type II, by Ziemer & Söhne Auction September 1945 Issue(Wiederholungsspange 1939 zum Eisernen Kreuz II. Klasse 1914 2. Form). Reinstituted 1 September 1939. (1940 1945 issue). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of a Wehrmacht eagle perched on top of a wreathed mobile swastika, in turn situated above a trapezoidal plaque bearing a raised date of 1939 on a pebbled background, the reverse retaining all four attachment prongs, accompanied by its original Third Reich period ribbon, unmarked
