The basket handles are appliqued in place and the basket bases are paper pieced (all of the paper foundations are included in the pattern). The larger baskets are 6 inches square, while the smaller ones are 2 inches square. I love how the small baskets form faux sashing strips between the larger baskets. This finished quilt measures 42 1 2 inches square.
