Saxony, Kingdom. An Albrecht Order, Commander's Badge With Swords & Crown, C.1914 Archive This particular buckle is illustrated(Albrechtsorden Komturkreuz mit Schwertern). 1879 1918 Issue. A Latin cross constructed of gilded silver and enamel, the obverse centre bears the right facing portrait of Herzog Albrecht on awhite enamel field encompassed by a blue enamel border inscribed with ALBERTUS ANIMOSUS (ALBERT THE MERCIFUL) with arabesque detailing at the bottom, the arms of the cross are of white enamel, two upwards facing crossed swords lay in the quadrants between the arms
