Germany, HJ. A Field Cap Republic of Admiral William F(HJ Sommer Mtze). A well preserved HJ field cap, constructed of khaki tan cotton. The cap is fully surrounded by stylized side walls which are trimmed along the seam with red piping. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a khaki tan cotton backer bearing a machine embroidered off white German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 34 mm (w) x 32 mm (h) overall.
