and about its feats in the spring of 1940
This particular buckle is exhibited on page 337 of Angolia's publication
It was made obsolete in 1929 and later revived by King Muhammad Zahir Shah

Constructed of bronzed zink alloy, the obverse with a central Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika above a bayonet and stick grenade, within a square border of oak leaves, with sun rays emanating from the centre of the left and right sides, and with four oak leaves and two acorns on each side, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked R. S. for Rudolf
