Ukraine. An Armed Forces Combatant's Cross, C.1945 Hold eleven Navigator/Airborne Interceptor/Radio Operator Badges(Khrest boyovoho diyacha ZSU ). Instituted in 1940. Three piece construction, in bronze gilt with azure blue and black enamels, obverse illustrating a Crutch Cross with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the four arms in black, with a central raised disk in blue bearing a raised Tryzub, reverse inscribed in Ukrainian "C Y B" (SUV) on the arm at 12 o'clock and number impressed 0588 on reverse, measuring 38. 6 mm x 38. 9 mm, and weighing 27. 8
