Their inaugural release was a single of the band's song "California ber Allies." While they continued on releasing more DK records, they also started working with other bands within the scene, like 7 Seconds, T. S. O. L., Butthole Surfers, and more. Alternative Tentacles continued expanding to a large roster of bands and even a fair amount of spoken word records.
