Domaine de la Grange des Pères de l’Hérault Rouge 2021 State_Texas and CerrajaThe Land Tucked into the scrubby limestone hills near Aniane in the Hrault, Grange des Pres draws from a rugged, high drainage site carved out of fractured limestone, boulders, and glacial scree. Planted between 80 and 200 meters of elevation with full southern exposure, the vineyards face searing summer heat, offset by cooling winds from the Cvennes. The soils are poor and stonyalmost hostile to agricultureyet ideal for producing low yielding vines
