It is stamped in black ink on the right side "W1830"
The cap presents in an otherwise near very fine condition
Germany, Federal Republic. An Iron Cross, Ii Class, 1957 Issue Archive and was raised in Pawtucket(Eisernes Kreuz 1939 I Klasse). 1957 Issue. An iron cross paty constructed of silver with a blackened non magnetic metal core, the obverse centre bearing a sprig of three oak leaves and the 6 oclock arm bearing the date 1939, with a ribbed border and smooth edge, the reverse 6 oclock arm bears the date 1813, measuring 44. 61 mm (w) x 48. 07 mm (h), on a red ribbon with white and black stripes, very fine.
