Lopez de Heredia Rioja Reserva Vina Tondonia 2011 loire A hand-selected case of LoireThe Tondonia vineyard is Lopez de Heredia's flagship vineyard on the banks of the Ebro river. The clay limestone soil here produces Tempranillo of rare structural elegance, with a helping hand from Garnacha, Graciano and Mazuelo. In great vintages the Heredia family makes Gran Reservas of incredible power and finesse, but we'll be waiting a while to see that one. In the meantime, the Reserva is here and ready to be the star of your next dinner party.
