In silver, measuring 14 mm (w) x 25. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, contact marks evident on the reverse, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of the Crescent was instituted in 1799 by Sultan Selim Khan III Ilhami and awarded to foreigners for services rendered during the Napoleonic wars.
