Germany, Imperial. A Wound Badge, Gold Grade Auction Archive Early Canadian Air Force Collar(Verwundetenabzeichen in Gold). Constructed of gilded magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36. 57 mm (w) x 42. 27 mm (h), weighing 6. 0 grams, some loss of gilt finish evident, in overall very fine condition.
