marked with “RZM” stamp and maker “78” for Stefan Merkl

Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed wreathed bearing an inscription of GOTT MIT UNS (GOD IS WITH US) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Dr. Franke & Co., Ldenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with some loss of finish evident, in very fine
