Constructed of a silver alloy, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, surrounding a central depiction of a monoplane flying over a rural landscape, unmarked, measuring 20. 03 mm (w) x 31. 92 mm (h), weighing 3. 8 grams, the tip of the crown demonstrates the loss of a suspension apparatus and some tarnishing is visible to
