The top of the fez is adorned with a tassel style decoration in the form of two rolled black threaded cords bearing an array of braided black threads which hang over the sides of the fez. The top is also adorned with a machine embroidered black ribbon that spans the circumference. The peak of the fez is adorned with an FGC
