marked "1 ARGENT" and flanked by dual cornucopia hallmarks on the edge
complete with retaining nuts
consisting of a correct ribbon fastened with a matching device
and bearing a central white rayon disc overlaid by a multi-piece black swastika
Germany, Heer. A Kuban Shield Auction Instituted 25 June 1902 by(Heer Kubanschild). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse features a shield bearing a stylized map of the Kuban region. It is topped by an inscription of KUBAN and a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by the date 1943. With magnetic metal backplate, and a field grey wool liner, with paper backer, unmarked, the shield measuring 52. 0 mm (w) x 62. 0 mm (h), in worn condition.
