he was transferred to the 78th Infantry Battalion "Winnipeg Grenadiers" (Manitoba Regiment) at Seaford on December 28th
including one depicting SS-Sturmbannführer (later SS-Oberführer) Sylvester Stadler
he was promoted to Lieutenant-General and assumed the role of General Officer Commanding the 160th Division
entitled "Edged Weapons of the Third Reich 1933-1945"
the panels are rolled up and secured in place with two black bakelite buttons on the right panel meeting two reinforced buttonholes on the left
