A Scarce Dragoon Regiment Pickelhaube Auction Archive officially engraved: KNice issue example of an Hessen Dragoon Pickelhaube. Blackened lacquered leather construction with silvered metal fittings. This helmet features a rounded body and extended, rounded corner front and squared rear visors. The forward edge of the front visor is trimmed in metal which is secured in position by two dome headed studs. The front visor is has suffered drying over time and pulled away from the silvered rim.
