Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42. 06 mm (w) x 53. 32 mm (h), weighing 32. 0 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
