A Second War German Red Cross Award Stein Auction The pants are nicely creasedCeramic with red, white and black paint, glazed, flip top pewter alloy lid with thumb lever, front illustrating the German Red Cross eagle insignia, inscribed "Rudolf Grieser Sanitts Halbzugfhrer" (Sanitary Half Platoon), thin red line trim along the circumference at the bottom edge, stamped "1 2 L" (litre) to the left of the handle and just below the rim, number stamped "1526", "24", "96" with a maker mark on the bottom, 97 mm in diameter x 165 mm
