The band was known for the dislike of Norwegian black metal, however they have since walked back that sentiment. Despite their vocal disapproval, they still brought in black metal influence alongside death metal, crust punk, and grind core to create their own unique sonic identity. They even used to wear corpse paint. In 1996 the band released their fourth album Latex Cult
