A Promotion Certificate To Cavalry Captain And Squadron Leader Grolman 1890 Buy Now Footnote: The Selective Service SystemThe promotion certificate is named to first lieutenant in the Rheinische Hussar Regiment No. 9, Gustav Grolman, promoting him to Rittmeister (cavalry captain) and squadron leader. Dated to Knigsberg on May 14, 1890, and signed by Emperor Wilhelm II in black ink. Measuring 216 mm (w) x 361 mm (h), presenting two folding creases, and some creasing and fraying of the edges, remains near very fine.
