Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Algoma, Ontario with mobilization headquarters at Sault Ste. Marie and Camp Borden, Ontario under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed April 11, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel C. H. Lep. Jones with a strength of 28 officers and 783 other ranks. In
