An Hj Belt Buckle By Hillenbrand & Bröer, Lüdenscheid; Published Example Archive Cross is tonedDie stamped steel with a field gray finish, magnetic, likely of wartime production, marked with the RZM (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia and maker marked "4 79" (Hillenbrand & Brer, Ldenscheid) on the reverse, 48. 8 mm x 64. 7 mm, scattered surface wear and contact marks, better than very fine. This particular buckle is illustrated on page 275 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal
