Instituted in 1880 (in silvered bronze, the date "1915" on the obverse centrepiece, measuring 35 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), replacement ribbon); 2. Long Service Cross to NCOs for Ten Years' Service, Type II. Instituted in 1889 (in gilt and blackened bronze, measuring 34 mm (w) x 39. 7 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, original triangular ribbon
