This particular grex uses our very squat female ampullaria "Purple Striped" clone (last photo) with a solid deep purple pitcher body and striped peristome and our male rafflesiana 'Thick Lip" which has purple pitchers with a pronounced lip

We've combined two of our favorite lowland pitcher plants to create a stunning hybrid

We expect to see more texture emerging as this plant matures
