Germany, Third Reich. A Totenkopf Pin for Wehrmacht and Freikorps Personnel Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic national tri-color cockade(Totenkopf Anstecknadel). Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of a Braunschweig style Totenkopf, unmarked, measuring 28 mm (w) x 25 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish to the base metal, an example commonly worn as a traditions badge by personnel attached to Kavallerie Regiment 5, as well as Freikorps and Wehrwolf veterans, in extremely fine condition.
