An Ss-Gebirgstruppen Sleeve Edelweiss Newly Listed Returned to Unit - backThis was worn by members of the SS Gebirgstruppen (Mountain Troops). It was worn on the right sleeve of both the tunic and the great coat. It is an oval shaped black cloth insignia with a silver grey machine embroidered edelweiss with yellow stamen. In extremely fine condition.
