The Bladnoch distillery was founded in 1817 on the banks of the River Blandoch by John and Thomas McClelland. It remained a family business for a century, and although it changed owners through time, it's still one of the oldest (and largest) privately owned distilleries. Today, 'The Queen of the Lowlands' creates gorgeous expressions under Master Distiller Dr. Nick Savage (formerly at The Macallan)
