Calleja, Icilio - Signed Photo in role Autographs composers dated by him in 1950Greek born Maltese tenor (1882 1941), who had a great international career focused mostly on heroic roles in the Italian repertoire, left recordings for Columbia, Path and Fonotipia. Signed photo, shown in role (likely either Siegmund or Siegfried in Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen), dated in 1926. Blind stamped by photographer Camuzzi, Milan. Photo is 6. 1 x 8. 6 inches with small crease on bottom right but otherwise in excellent condition.
