R. G. M." (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster = patented), numbered "653146" and marked "800" (silver) on the screwback, 42. 5 mm, vertical pinback, extremely high quality, better than extremely fine. Footnote: This Iron Cross was a private purchase award. Paul Meybauer of Berlin only began supplying Iron Crosses
