In silvered bronze, measuring 39 mm (w) x 52. 8 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath suspension, original ribbon, contact marks, better than very fine. Footnote: The medal was created on January 6, 1953 to be awarded for assistance in creating and training units of the Vietnamese armed forces.
