This tapestry represents a part of the Norman army. This is a reproduction of a part of an 11th century tapestry now on display in the Museum of Bayeux, France. The entire tapestry measures 70 meters in length and represents the conquest of England by William the Conqueror, Duke of Normandy in 1066 at the Battle of Hastings.
