Constructed of silver with enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreathed joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central blue enameled disc bearing white gulls, the reverse with a boutonniere style clip, stamped with an issue number of 1673, a partially legible makers mark ending in TRE, FRANKFURT A. M., and a silver content number of 900, measuring 20. 64 mm in diameter,
