The design reflects the ancient cliff dwellings and cultural sites preserved within the monument. Bolihua is a reverse glass painting technique developed in China in the early 1700s. Each ornament is hand painted inside a glass bulb using narrow brushes and fine tools. The layered process takes several days and creates a one of a kind
