Its purpose is to give the strings a proper break angle with the correct amount of pressure as they go from the trem to the bridge. Without a proper break angle, the strings are more prone to buzzing and sympathetic noises. The way it works is easy! The Downholder simply mounts into the existing threaded bushings of the stop tailpiece and allows for the
