FERRARI-FONTANA, Edoardo Autographs Theater founder of the Academy ofItalian tenor (1878 1936), signed photo postcard, shown as Tristan in Wagner's Tristan und Isolde. Considered the leading Italian Wagnerian tenor of his day, sang at La Scala, the Met and Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires and left several recordings. Inscribed with sentiment, dated 1920. Size is 3. 5 x 5. 5 inches, with some silvering and wear on edges not affecting the signature.
