Constructed of black wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey SS style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, in turn stitched to a field grey wool backer which has been cut off of a period uniform, unmarked, the eagle measuring 90 mm (w) x 44 mm (h), a superb field worn example in extremely fine condition.
