1904-1905 Medal For The Russo-Japanese War Newly Listed One of the hits was1904 1905 Medal for the Russo Japanese War Light bronze version, 28 mm, light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The medal was instituted on January 21, 1906 during the reign of Tsar Nicholas II, to commemorate the 1904 1905 conflict between the Russian and the Japanese Empires. The light bronze medal was bestowed upon the higher ranks of the military and civilian personnel, border guards and volunteers that had taken active part in the conflict.
