Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, consisting of a Shamrock Cross with ribbed borders highlighted in black, the obverse bearing the central integrated monograms of King Wilhelm II and Queen Charlotte, the reverse bearing a central raised institution date of 1916, unmarked, measuring 40. 35 mm
