Constructed of a bronze alloy, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 64. 97 mm (w) x 51. 05 mm (h), weighing 37. 8 grams, loss of finish and excess soldering evident, a unique field made piece in near extremely fine
