Agua Nueva can sometimes have fortification, but is often a high contrast well defined moss agate. It tends to be fairly hard and solid, and takes a mirror polish. Agua Nueva means "New Water" agate, and is near where the Laguna Agate is mined on the Agua Nueva Ranch.
