The aroma is intense with a clear hint of dried rose, violet, ripe fruit jam, such as pomegranate, apricots and white peach pit, date, winter medlar and candied orange peel. Spicy and balsamic scent, incense, liquorice and hints of tobacco and leather. The taste is fresh, savory, full bodied and persistent with elegant notes of jam and spices that blend with the present but very elegant tannins.
