plum and pomegranate are complemented by subtle hints of tea
The palate has a drying grip after a generous red fruit palate
savoury notes and hints of black olive
Caledonia Australis Chardonnay 2023 barone-ricasoli Bottled August 2014"Nutty with citrus and melon aromas. The palate is a medium bodied style, with oak and winemaking all a subtlety. An usual creamy almond character adds to the ripe lemon and apple tart personality of the wine. There is a lovely acidity framing this "almost natural" Chardonnay.
